Got this interesting set today for review~ It's the build-a-bear limited edition Cinderella bear.
It's limited to 30, 000 worldwide - which personally, is quite a big edition number. I don't see this line selling out as quick as the Disney LE dolls. Nonetheless, it is a cute product.
This bear was released in March; as well as the live action movie. Coincidence? Maybe.
The set includes a variety of things. First off, the bear comes with its own heart that matches it's patten and colour scheme.
It comes with its own pair of underwear, in light blue.
A ballgown; also in blue.
A tiara, and necklace.
"Glass" slippers, a sound box that plays "A dream is a Wish your Heart Makes" and a blonde wig.
I found the wig way too difficult to maintain and put on the bear itself; so I will be keeping it in its net and displaying the bear with its other accessories. I also chose to keep the voice box out of the bear; as it seems a big too unnerving for me.
Here she is all put together and dressed up - sans wig and voice. The bear itself is made of extremely soft faux fur.The bear also comes with its own certificate of authenticity (a very nice touch) this bear in particular is number 2284 of 30 000. Quite a low number for such a high edition size.
The bear also comes with a display box - a clear window to view her in when not in use or play. The handle of the box is a pink crown.
The back of the box features artwork of Cinderella and a little inspirational blurb with her "autograph".
On the sides of the box you can see the other princesses they will possibly have in this line.
Overall, this is an interesting line that Disney in collab with Build-a-bear has started. The wigs - I'm not so fond of. Too messy and difficult to keep on the bear. The voice box is a great touch - personally I am keeping mine apart because I prefer a quieter bear. I am looking forward to what they come up with next.
