My Little Pony Funko Vinyl Collection - Princess Cadance

As we wait for the new Disney/doll wave to come upon us, I've decided to review something new to cleanse the palette a little bit. Today I received my vinyl Princess Cadance figure by Funko! This is her normal version; I was unlucky enough to not get her clear chase glitter variant which is a 1/24 chance.
Here she is in her box; and actually, it's quite bigger than I imagined. The box itself is nicely engineered; with a window on the front and left side to see her at different angles.

The box features much of her art; and even goes so far as to decorate the black background of the box in her "pattern" and outline the rainbow of the logo in her main colours.
The top of the box features a full body shot, her name, the logo and her scheme of colours on the left side.

Her pattern on the box.
The background she comes with in the box is easily removable and is red with her pattern on it as well.

Out of the box she is a pretty heavy figure; definitely solid and not hollow. She can stand on her own without need of a stand (due to her feet and weight)
She is also very show accurate from the colours to the accessories, marks and gradient of her wings.
A cool thing about this figure is that her hair does not obstruct the view of her other eye!

Her colours are vibrant; and her mark is neatly done on both sides of her.

She has shoes accurate to her show counterpart on all four hooves,
 And her necklace as well.

 She also has her crown.
The paint job on her crown is a bit sloppy, but can easily be fixed with similar coloured paint.

The gradient on her wings is a nice touch as well.
On the bottom of her feet is the logo. (I suppose you could use this as a way to make sure you don't have a fake if you do buy this figure on the secondary market.)

Overall this figure has reached above my expectations and the quality control seems to be top notch this time around. I own a few of funko's pop figures, and many times I've strayed from purchasing them online due to the hit-or-miss of receiving a terrible paint job and opting to hunt for one in store and selecting one that isn't completely messy. Let's hope that from this point on, all the figures will have the same quality control.

That's all for now, stay tuned for next time~
