[2 Doll Review] Legacy Day - Ashlynn Ella, Thronecoming - Briar Beauty

Beginning this review with two new dolls from the Ever After High line!
First is Ashlynn Ella (Legacy Day)
Front view - Note: her hair has been restyled, and her accessories have been repainted to match her show's counterpart as opposed to her box art.

Back of the doll
Close up of her face - Note: her earrings have been left unpainted.

Full view of her dress

Her hair has braids

Her crown has been repainted to be more accurate to her show's counterpart.

Her ring, also repainted

Her bag (repainted)

Necklace was also repainted

She also comes with a book

And her key which was painted as well.

Next is thronecoming Briar Beauty

Front view. The mask that comes with this doll appears to be easy for the doll to hold and pose

\
Briar's hair has also been restyled to match her box art.

\
She wears a sort of belt/chest piece.

Her arms and hands are painted black to resemble gloves, with sliver rose cuffs. I would prefer if she came with skin coloured hands to interchange, as it would add more diversity for collectors (especially if they only want one doll per character)

Her earrings are carousel horses

A unicorn ring to match (could have used a better mold)

This Briar Beauty is only available with a playset in the shape of a book.

The spine of the book is used to contain the doll, however, a stand is included. One negative aspect of this set is the neglect to include a brush for this doll.

The playset-book includes various scenes

Bedroom scene

Thronecoming scene

This set includes a pop out DJ area made of some sort of paper. Would prefer if it was made of plastic, as its durability is questionable.

However, the doll fits inside the area without the help of a stand.

The various accessories this set comes with

Everything is easily stored in the spine of the book, as well as the bottom of the bed.
