"Ever After High: C.A Cupid - Thronecoming Doll"

I received this doll recently, having never collected this brand; up until now I have only the LE and designer disney dolls. I'll do my best to review each detail!

This character is from a series called Ever After High, where each student is the son or daughter of a well known fairy tale character - who, for lack of better terminology is "taking on the family business". In other words, they will follow the plot of their parents before them.

Students are separated into two distinct groups: "Royals" - the characters who live out a happily ever after, and "Rebels" - Those who are portrayed as villains or who wish to change their destiny.

Cupid is categorized as a rebel; although she is not part of a distinct fairy tale (as far as I know, anyways) my best guess is that because cupid is the embodiment of "love", her support would be for characters to find love regardless of their pre-determined story (for example, if a royal and a rebel were to fall in love - something that is frowned upon, by which she supports).

On with the review!~

I received her in her box as shown. The box is made to look like a book.

Her character artwork is shown on the spine of the book-box.

Beneath is her name and title, "Daughter of Eros".

On the back of the box is the description of the doll line/series. This particular doll is part of the "Thronecoming" series (a play on words for homecoming).

I had de-boxed her, and put her into an acrylic display case.

Out of the box with her accessories.

She comes with a black brush in the shape of a key, with the brand's logo on the handle.

She also comes with a purse made of soft flexible plastic.

Her mask. Her theme is based on the pegasus, and so the mask is decorated in wings and her character animal on top.

The handle of the mask features a heart with wings.

Close up of her face and make up. Note; her eyes have small hearts in them.

Her wings are detachable and are connected to her necklace for ease of removal. They are very detailed and made of flexible plastic.
The back of the wings; note the iconic heart where the ends of the wings meet.

She comes with a clear saddle stand and black base.

Her shoes are equally as detailed as the rest of her attire. She wears gladiator styled heels.

Side view of her shoes, the heel portion is a tassel-like design similar to her purse.

On her left arm she has a pink rose corsage, and a gladiator style arm cuff.

She has a matching cuff on her right arm.
She also has cuff-like earrings on both her ears in the shape of wings and hearts.

Her mask also fits her face appropriately.

And that's it~ She will join my Disney girls up on my shelf with the rest of my collection! Very pleased with this doll, I hope they are able to produce more dolls just as intricate as this one~
