Guess who finally has an Alice doll~
I really like the way they blinged up her dress~ It's really cute; they also actually have her doll as a little girl as opposed to her 17" doll which looked obviously more adult.
Here they are out of the box! This has to be my favourite set out of the 12" releases this season. It's accurate, designed well, and I find very little flaw with this set.
Standard name plate; this is the only actual flaw with this set. They name her as the Red Queen ( a different character), yet on the slip cover, she is named correctly as the queen of hearts.

Alice is super adorable, and she actually looks like a child, like she is in the movie. She does have a bit of purple eyeshadow, though.
Her dress is so well made and detailed! There are flowers and stems embroidered all over the front part of her apron, with rhinestones.

Her hair is styled nicely as well.

She wears her classic Alice bow on her head.
She has black detailed mary-janes, and stockings!

The queen of hearts is accurate as well, especially with her face mold.
Red and black is her normal colour scheme, and there are hearts embroidered all over her outfit.
She holds a sceptre in her hand.

 She also wears red pumps.

 This set is number 4186/6000.

I really do like this set; If they ever choose to remake Alice as a 17" doll, this design will be hard to beat.

[Doll Review] 17" Limited Edition Winter Belle, and 12" Designer Belle and Gaston

Back again for another review~ I recently picked up the newest 17" LE doll, which is a variant of Belle in her winter outfit from the movie.
Out of all the current releases, I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with this doll in particular, and I'll show you why in a second.

Here she is out of the box! Her dress is amazing; super detailed and there are a lot of components that they added to this doll.
I put a dramatic filter over this picture so that you can see the detailing on her dress a little more sharply.
She also wears her velvet cape, with rope to hold it together.
 Some lace on her sleeves.
Her hair is styled nicely with a bow, and in comparison to her original 17" yellow dress doll, she actually has a widow's peak, accurate to the movie.
She holds a small bird in her hand.

Her shoes are boots! really well detailed and painted!

A close up of her face and make up.
Her certificate of authenticity, this doll is number 4357/5000.
I also got my Belle and Gaston set today.

My only issue with this set is that Belle looks way too happy with Gaston, also their heights are a bit odd, as Belle should be shorter, and Gaston looks pretty small.

She is wearing a more stylized version of her blue peasant dress, and holds a basket in her arms.

There are a lot of rose details all over her dress.

 Bows! bows everywhere!

Gaston, also pretty detailed is accurate to his movie counterpart, and is holding the book Belle was previously reading.
He has a lot of tiny accessories, like this tiny knife, his belt, some arrows (but no bow?) and gloves.

Even the book has details! there's a page of illustration and some writing, and the book has small detailing on the front side as well.

Belle's shoes are standard flats in brown.

This set is number 1544/6000

Overall these two were definitely one of the best ones released this year; but I'm more excited for the next release which is Alice in wonderland. This is going to give those who can't afford her LE 500 17" doll a chance to own a more accurate version of her.
